Yes. Our trips are made for solo travellers and small groups of friends, and you can book a single seat.

Group composition varies trip to trip. Most Charkadam trips see a mix of solo travellers and small friend groups. Get in touch before booking and we'll tell you this specific trip's current group makeup.

Every trip has a trip leader with you throughout, and we take group safety seriously. If you have specific questions, about who else is booked or anything else, get in touch before you book. We'd rather you ask than assume.

It differs by trip, so every trip page has two lists: what's included and what isn't. Read both before you book. Anything on the second list is yours to arrange and pay for.

Stays are listed per trip, under what's included. The Winter Spiti Circuit, for one, is homestay to homestay rather than hotels.

A trip leader from our own team is with the group throughout. We plan and run our trips ourselves and don't hand them to another operator.

Every trip page shows a difficulty rating, and the Fitness Guide explains what each rating asks of you. If you're unsure a trip suits you, ask us before you book.

Some routes, such as Spiti and Tawang, go high. Their trip pages carry notes on altitude and pace where it matters. If you have a medical condition, speak to your doctor before booking and tell us about it when you enquire.
