Winter Spiti Circuit

Eleven days into the cold desert — Shimla to Kalpa, Nako to Kaza, Tabo to Sangla, and on to Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-Tibet border. This is Spiti in winter: frozen rivers, thousand-year-old monasteries, and homestays instead of hotels.
